Solid bar with good food. Definitely recommend the French onion soup and the Thai chile wings... both delicious! Looking forward to coming back here for brunch.

Visited my sister last weekend in Philly. We were looking for brunch options, and based on my Yelp search, this place popped up with great reviews. I made a reservation online, but I'm sure a walk-in would have been fine as well! The hostess was nice. We got seated in the back. Our server, Alyssa, was great. I wanted more lunch food versus breakfast. I got the honey dip chicken sandwich with a generous helping of fries, and it was really good. My sister had the omlette and she enjoyed it. I tried the hibiscus mezcalrita, and it was pretty good. There's a full bar! I like that they change their menu daily! When visiting Philly, I'll come back : )

I can't believe it's taken me so long to write a review when this is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia and has been for about 12 years. My son is 11 and has been accompanying me here for years and it's a favorite of his as well. As an appetizer I'm sure to start with the clams and French onion soup. The French onion soup here is to die for; literal chefs kiss it's so delicious. The clams, whew the clams, I've been obsessed with the clams since the first day I set eyes on them. Today I had the burrata, wasn't my favorite which is fine it's not a consistent item on the menu here. For dinner I had the steak frites and I substituted the fries for mash. For dessert it's always the same for me... bread pudding with ice cream. It's great to share and the closest thing to perfect that I have ever tasted.

This place is officially a staple and a restaurant I honestly dine at once a week, every week. Food, service, drinks, and ambiance are always consistent and 10/10! I've ordered some new dishes since my last review, including: Traditional French Onion Gratin, Autumn Squash Soup, Old School Salad, Chicken cutlet Parmesan sandwich, Moroccan spiced lamb burger, Seared Jail Island Salmon and Roasted Free Range Chicken Breast. The chicken cutlet parm sandwich and salmon salad were very memorable. You honestly cannot go wrong with any of their food.
